Privacy
We collect only what we need to get your order to you, and we don’t sell it or share it for marketing.

Who we are
The Mitti Tales, 145, 1C, 1st A Main Road, Kasturi Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560043, India. We are responsible for the personal data described here, under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, WhatsApp number, email address, delivery address and pincode, any delivery note, whether you want gift wrap and any message for the gift card, and the pieces you ordered.
When you message us: what you send us on WhatsApp or by email.
Automatically: to stop the checkout being flooded with fake orders, we keep a one-way scrambled code made from your internet address and the date, not the address itself. If you accept on the cookie bar, analytics tools record how the site is used; if you decline, they never load.
Why we use it
- to confirm your order, arrange payment and deliver it;
- to contact you about that order, on WhatsApp or by email;
- to deal with anything that goes wrong afterwards, like a broken piece or a refund;
- to keep the records of sales that the law asks us to keep.
We use it on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the box at checkout. We won’t send you offers or newsletters unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
- The delivery courier gets your name, phone number and address, only to deliver your order.
- Razorpay takes your payment when you pay on the site. They get your name, phone number and email so they can process it and contact you about the payment itself. Your card, UPI or bank details are given to them and never to us, and we don’t keep them anywhere.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and stores orders for us.
- WhatsApp carries the messages you exchange with us.
- Google, only if you say yes when Google offers its customer survey on your order page after your order is paid or confirmed. Google then gets your email address, order number, country and expected delivery date, and emails you one short survey about your order. Your answers count towards our rating on Google. Google’s own privacy policy covers what they do with it.
We never sell your data, and we don’t share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Your name, phone number, email and address are deleted 12 months after your order is closed. A record of what was sold and for how much is kept without them, for our accounts.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent before an order is delivered means we can’t complete that order. Write to or message our grievance officer below; we reply within 7 days.
